Sail Academy

Hudson River Community Sailing (HRCS) develops leadership and academic success in underserved New York City youth through sailing education and provides maritime education and recreation to the community at large. Learn more at hudsonsailing.org.

HRCS runs an after-school program for high school freshmen called SAIL ACADEMY. The program teaches math, science, and leadership under sail. 

In 2014, a portion of HBR proceeds are going to expand support and access for students admitted to the program.
